El Cortijo Taqueria, with locations in Burlington and Winooski is seeking experienced Line Cooks for immediate hire as we ramp up our operations in (hopeful) anticipation of increased volume in the weeks and months ahead. Full time availability preferred but part time positions will be considered.
Total earnings average $18.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on schedule. Full time employees eligible for robust benefits package including company sponsored health insurance, life insurance, dental and vision plans, and paid time off.
Experience in high volume and/or short order cooking a plus. Must have open availability including weekends. One year of kitchen experience preferred but we're willing to train the right people.
El Cortijo is part of The Farmhouse Group, made up of five farm-to-table restaurants in the Burlington area, The Farmhouse Tap & Grill, El Cortijo Taqueria (Burlington & Winooski), Guild Tavern and Pascolo Ristorante. Our menus are a vehicle for showcasing the many wonderful farms & food producers in Vermont.
