Renewal by Andersen is seeking a lead installer.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate advanced knowledge of RBA products.

Complete jobs with no supervision

Monitor, instruct and train installers on a jobsite.

Train new employees on proper installation procedures.

Monitor and enforce proper “Personal Protective Equipment” on job site.

Communicate efficiently with the homeowner to address needs and concerns.

Ability to communicate efficiently with supervisor.

Read, understand and follow direction of all Andersen instruction manuals.

Perform basic installation of Series I and Series II window applications:

ü Flange Set

ü Butt Bead

ü Patio Doors

Perform liner cut backers and casing installation including

ü Picture frame

ü Sill and Apron

ü Window stop methods

Use a metal brake for coil wrap

Install bays, bows and bump-out windowsBasic installation of “Nail On” window application.

Installation of windows in new rough openings. Properly level, plumb, square and align with any adjacent windows.

Have a complete knowledge of all RBA paperwork and forms.

Final walk-through with customer & payment collection

Posting on Slack for a Service Request as needed

Post pre-installation picture with yard sign on slack

Posting on Slack when installation has been completed to include pictures

Calling in for release of the survey

KEY EVALUATION CRITERIA

Sound baseline competencies regarding product(s), window installation processes and techniques and general window competencies.

Solid carpentry, finishing and customer service skills.

Oversees single site job installation processes and homeowner satisfaction.

Assures pre-arrival planning for materials and resources are completed.

Makes necessary decisions about work site set up, workflow and proper installation techniques.

Assures compliance with RbA’s installation procedures.

Provides flawless first-time window and door installation.

Addresses installation concerns with the Field Technician or Installation Manager.

Provides direction, training, coaching and mentoring to an Installer.

Meets or exceeds customer satisfaction and revenue dollars per period.

Ensures proper safety techniques are utilized while on Company property, utilizing a Company vehicle or equipment and on the job site.

Maintains Company vehicle in accordance with Company policy.

Builds and sustains positive co-worker relationships.

Demonstrates self-leadership and accountability.

Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality.

Demonstrates workplace flexibility.

Effectively delegates to others.

Effectively coaches and gives feedback.

Development of next lead

· Continually improves processes

· Follows and participates in the development of company processes and procedures

· Actively participates and encourages the CompanyCulture

· Supports the decisions and goals set by the management team

Position Requirements:

· 6 months previous experience as a Level 3 Installer for RbA products

· Demonstrated ability to perform all duties of a Level one, two and three Installer

· May require a valid Alaska Driver License

· Clean driving record

· Must have toolbelt and standard tools

· Must be able to travel 25%

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma/GED

· At least 6 moths experience in Installation

Physical Requirements:

· Able to lift 50-75lbs

· Able to work on ladders

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
