Spenard Roadhouse is looking for an Assistant Front of House Manager!

Spenard Roadhouse is looking for a salaried manager to join our Front of House team! This position will oversee both lunch and dinner service and will include working evenings (weekend availability is required). The person in this role will be responsible for helping to ensure the success of the front of house department and overseeing that service runs smoothly and efficiently, and that our staff and guests are taken care of. Other job duties would include hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a skilled and productive front of house team.

Spenard Roadhouse is a locally owned restaurant and bar, serving contemporary comfort food in a casual, eclectic setting. Over the last few years we have been voted Best Waitstaff in Anchorage, Best Bartender, Best Server, as well as winning gold or silver for Best Family Diner, Bloody Mary, and Cocktail Menu. We offer a fun work environment with friendly people who provide the kind of quality experience that we can be proud of. We are seeking somebody who will help lead our awesome team to continued success.

Qualified applicants will have:

Great time management and organizational skills

At least 4 years front of house restaurant experience

Strong leadership skills

Stong, professional communication skills

Ability to adapt and remain positive in a constantly evolving work environment

Current ServSafe Certification (preferred) or Municipality of Anchorage approved Food Worker Card AND TAM/TIPS card

Must be at least 21 years of age
