- Key Responsibilities: Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process: Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software Develop and organize cloud systems
- Technical Experience: Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company cloud privacy
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud
- 15 plus years’ experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions
- The Cloud Architect is a key role to enable our customer's journey to leverage cloud and develop a hybrid cloud / bimodal operating model.
- In this role the Cloud Architect engages closely with clients, partners and other business units to develop and execute innovative and competitive solutions / projects for new and existing clients leveraging a wealth of previous experience in deploying cloud solutions.
- The candidate will be expected to operate at any point in the project lifecycle, from proposal creation through to the delivery of transformation projects.
- It is anticipated that individuals will either be an architect or Consultant with significant specialism in either AWS or Azure.
- Preference will be given to candidates with strong enterprise architecture background as well as the requisite technical knowledge & expertise
- Hands on Experience of min 3 years in either AWS or Azure platform features and capabilities
- Vendor certified in either AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge and experience of AWS/Azure pricing and commercial models & producing multitier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in an Enterprise & cloud environment.
- Understanding of Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models
- Manage cloud risk & compliance assessments with the customer
- Network integration experience with AWS Direct Connect or Azure Express route integration and network design (LAN/WAN/Firewalls)
- 7-10 Years of experience into 7-10 in Infra Domain specifically Data Centre Architecture.
- Deep Understanding of OS, Windows or Linux.
