Our Client is seeking an experienced software system developer to join a cross-functional team. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Actively participates in the review of detailed business requirements 2. Analyzes business/technical problems 3. Develops estimates for assigned work 4. Develops unit test plans, test programs and modifications as assigned 5. Communicates effectively and works in partnership with business partners and IT resources 6. Codes and modifies programs. Accountable for quality of work and supports the team in maintaining an atmosphere focused on quality. 7. Process oriented, supporting standards, procedures and delivery methodology while suggesting opportunities for improvement 8. Completes assignments and tasks in agreed upon timelines 9. Resolves production problems 10. Ability to understand business processes supported by assigned applications 11. Works collaboratively to achieve team results 12. Documents programs and program modifications as required 13. Effectively communicates feedback and raises issues appropriately Required Skills: 1. Minimum 3+ years previous Microsoft front and back end experience required. Experience with the following technologies is desired: A. Microsoft Internet Info Server, .Net, MS Web Forms, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server. B. Familiarity with output creation in HTML, XML and CSV. C. Experience desired in Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), N-tier Architecture. 2. Strong user interface design skills 3. Agile/Scrum experience 4. Quality focus, including competency with unit testing, TDD, Continuous Integration and build automation 5. Demonstrated ability to develop specifications from business requirements and collaboration with a development team and product owner 6. Solid analysis skills - Proactive thinking, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 7. Demonstrated history of delivering results within assigned timeframe 8. Ability to estimate work effort, resources and project time lines 9. Solid communication and team skills. Ability to work professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
