Our HelpDesk Specialist III will provide technical support to U.S. Amry Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) employees regarding technical aspects of assigned products to include networks and servers.
You'll be responsible for the following:- Answers specific questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
- Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions to correct common failures.
- Escalates complex problems to senior level contract support team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Secret Security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- It is preferred to have 3 years of experience as a Helpdesk Specialist in multi-server environments customer service experience, or equivalent training and experience.
- Certifications as stipulated in DoD 8570.01 and DoD 8570.01-M: CompTIA Security+ (CE) and Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of hardware and/or software products required.
- Experience in the use of problem management database and help desk system.
