Software Engineer

Description SAIC is looking for a dynamic computer scientist to fill the role of a senior consultant who will assist in complex, mission critical, client requirements; develop, modify, and apply computer modeling and programming applications to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific problems affecting system and program performance; participate in all phases of scientific and engineering projects such as research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation. Qualifications Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or relevant discipline, plus 5 years of related experience or equivalent
• At least 5 years of software development experience using C/C
• Strong background in object-orient ed design
• Strong background in RTOS experience
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deve lop, test, and deliver capabilities
• Develop and maintaining an automated build, test, and deployment system
• Strong background in Unix/Linux
• Experience developing operational systems
• Strong collaboration and teaming skills
• Must have a minimum active DOE L or DOD Secret with Reciprocity

• Familiarity with software design principles and design patterns
• Experience with software architecture
• Experience with sensor fusion, probability and statistics and Kalman filtering
• Experience scripting in Python
• Experience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) technologies and navigation
• Experience with navigation sensors including RADAR, Inertial Sensing, or Visual Navigation
• Experience with satellite trajectory modeling and orbital dynamics
• Experience configuring and using DevOps technologies including Gitlab, Gitlab Runners, and Jenkins
