The DHS CISA System Administrator will help develop a sensor platform to securely capture the necessary IT and OT data sources to enable the identification of the latest threats. Configure and deploy centralized services (authentication, DNS, secure file share, update services, monitoring, and time synchronization) to facilitate secure and consistent analysis, administration, and configuration of the environment. Research and deploy additional threat feeds from government and commercial sources to detect known indicators of compromise (IOC) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Develop, deploy, and validate the sector-wide and cross-sector analysis and anomaly detection.

  • Feed research findings, analytics, dashboards, and tools back into DHS CDC deployment kits, Hunt methodologies, and analytics.
  • Develop architecture and technical requirements for DHS Systems in the field and central infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain remove connections(s) that originate or terminate between Idaho National Laboratory and other Laboratory sites and/or customer networks as outlined by authorized agreements.
  • Perform system administration duties (maintenance, security, disaster recovery) for the networks and hosts needed to perform DHS Required Network and Systems related work.
  • Provide technology development and support expertise and services to assist Threat Hunting operations, including on-site support.
