Responsibilities:
- Perform standard server Operating System administration duties on Mac OS, Windows (2008, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019), RedHat Linux 7 & 8, CentOS 7 & 8 and Oracle Solaris, HP-UX and AIX servers
- Platform ownership and lifecycle management of Cisco UCS server hardware
- iLO remote server management
- Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory
- Manage and support DHCP servers and scopes & internal DNS
- Responsible for ESXi vSphere management
- Responsible for platform management of the following VMWare deployments: Horizon 7 VDI, VMWare VSAN Server & Storage, vROPS and vRealize log insight
- Platform ownership of Veeam backup environments (design, test, implement, support) and decommissioning of NetBackup environments
- Execute on strategic projects as assigned from end-to-end
- Collaborate within the team to implement and manage an Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS) platform leveraging VMWare vRealize Automation (vRA), Ansible, Terraform, GitBucket, etc.
- Administer O365 tenant including the administration of an Exchange hybrid environment
- Provide management of non-networking portions of Big-IP F5 Load Balancers (e.g., iRules)
- Break-Fix incident resolution, root cause analysis and problem management.
- Participation in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and off-hours maintenance windows
- Respond to and fulfill customer Service Request tickets
- Responsible for maintaining and creating relevant and up to date infrastructure documentation for all deployed systems and cross-training other team members
- Identify and improve any processes or procedures that are outdated or obsolete with respect to technical architecture
- Responsible for mentoring and cross-training other team members as required
- College or University degree
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in small, medium and/or large size IT Infrastructure Organizations
- Strong experience with VMWare vSphere ESXi & vCenter administration
- Experience in implementing IT Infrastructure (Directory Services, Server, Backup solutions)
- Experience with server hardware on Intel x8664 platforms
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 (including R2)/2019
- Strong experience with VMware ESX (vSphere 6.x)
- Experience with VMWare HorizonView v. 7.x
- Strong experience with Netapp Storage
- Experience with Veeam backup and Veritas NetBackup
- Scripting/automation experience e.g., Microsoft PowerShell, open source automation
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaborating as a project team member
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes and become a technology subject matter expert
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US (Trusted Role requirement for conducting work on government environments)
- Proven ability to multi-task between rapidly changing priorities and managing time effectively while still being engaged with broader team efforts
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS administration
- Experience with Oracle Solaris, HP-UX and AIX servers
- Experience with Cisco UCS and Dell NVMe servers
- Experience with vSAN and Software Defined Datacenter
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
- Experience with F5 Loadbalancing
- Experience with Solarwinds Orion monitoring and alerting platform
- Experience with VictorOps alerting platform
- Experience with orchestration tools including Ansible, Jenkins and configuration management
- Experience with O365 administration
