Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen, Current Security Clearance or Eligibility to Obtain, T3/NACLC

Skills: IT Modernization, Automation, DoD, USAF, Database Monitoring, DBMS, AWS, AzureWe are seeking a Database Monitoring Specialist to work in support of an enterprise cloud migration effort. This work is supporting IT Modernization and automation capabilities for a DoD. Prior experience supporting USAF technology environment is preferred.

Role and responsibilities include:
  • Su pport database performance with monitoring, evaluating, and resolving processing and programming problems.
  • Design database management tools.
  • Support Q&A about database monitoring.
  • Assess database performance by developing a protocol for measurement of monitoring results and identification of problem areas.

Requirements include:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Current security clearance (at a minimum a favorable T3 or NAC) and ability to obtain a secret level.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring on large enterprise relational database management systems (DBMS), preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Experiences with database performance tuning for a large enterprise DBMS, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Experience in a shared service environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
  • Experience supporting cloud migrations is a plus.
  • Experience with automation capabilities is highly desired.
  • Prior work supporting USAF is a plus.
