Location: Eden Prairie, MN Description: Our client is currently seeking a SQL DBA What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

  • Operational maintenance and support of database instances and clusters.
  • Patches, upgrades, proactive/reactive maintenance, supporting the app dev team (performance tuning, SQL dev), war rooms and incident restoration.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
  • Experience with version of MS SQL Server 2012 to 2019
What skills/attributes are a must have?
  • Powershell scripting, T-SQL Great verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Always-On clustering
