IT - Project Manager

PROJECT: IT Project Manager will work on a program coordinating security endpoint protection updates with a number of non-integrated entities. Individual may assist IT project managers (team members) on daily operational activities as needed, which will allow individual to become familiar with the environment and gain skills to become successful at this role. TOP REQUIREMENTS: 1) Ability to drive a project to success - meeting deadlines, coordinating efforts, managing risks and issues. 2) Communicating with Non-integrated entities and management teams. 3) Working with the team, influencing the team members to meet key project deliverables. What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Ability to get results. Past experience with software deployments/patch management is a plus. Cannot provide sponsorship upon conversion. TEAM STRUCTURE: Part of a team with one PM (Agile team lead already), 1-2 testers, 1-2 packagers (who have dev skills), and 2 - 3 deployment operations persons.What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) Manage key project deliverables, driving to timelines. Ensure proper coordination and communication exists between technical teams and Non-integrated entities. Coordinate with key members of the technical teams and project teams on delivery of technical and program objectives. Follow-up on post implementation activities, to include assessing the effectiveness of the various software and patch deployments. Assist with team members in remediation activities as needed. Communicate project status updates to management Work in an agile environment, leveraging project management and agile best practices as appropriate. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Use of Microsoft office products, including Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Project. Familiarity with ServiceNow. Familiarity with SCCM and/or Microsoft InTune is beneficial but not required. What skills/attributes are a must have? Ability to drive project results, meeting project and program deliverables. Drive deliverable completion to timelines. Communication Skills - communicate project status, upcoming activities, and anticipated outcomes to key stakeholders. Coordination skills - ability to work with diverse teams on reaching project and program goals. What skills/attributes are nice to have? Familiarity with SCCM/InTune. What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) 8AM-5PM, Mon-Friday, Central Standard time.
