ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be part of a larger team providing iterative Defensive Cyberspace Operations capabilities in support of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP). CSSP support encompasses Incident Response, Incident Coordination, Cyber Hunt, Digital Forensics, Insider Threat, Continuous Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Tool Development, Plans/Programs/Readiness, CSSP Architecture Group, Infrastructure Support, Communications Security (COMSEC), Cooperative Purple Team, Red Team, and Innovation & Collaboration. The following provides an overview of the specific job requirements:Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.

QualificationsEducation: BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Physical Sciences, Network Security, Information Systems, Information Technology or ComputerScience.Certifications: Must have security certifications that are compliant with 8570 Categories of CND Auditor, CND Analyst, CNDSP Manager, CNDIncident Responder, CND Infrastructure Support, IASAE I or IASAE II.Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in supporting accredited Cyber Security Service Providers, Network Operations Security Centers,Computer Incident Response Teams or National Security Agency certified Cyber Red Teams. Six (6) years of technical experience supportingCND analysis, incident response, vulnerability analysis, cyber forensics, cyber threat intelligence, software reverse engineering, malware analysis or penetration testing. Note: Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Requires a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
