Web Developer - Mktg ContentContract to HireRemote (Eugene, OR post Covid)Local Candidates to Springfield, OR onlySummary:Join a growing team of technologists working in one of the Pacific Northwest's most dynamic and advanced organizations.Work with a range of enterprise class technologies to tackle problems which make a difference in the real world.If you've got talent, drive, and place the highest value on working in a supportive team environment, we'd be delighted to talk with you about this opportunity.Summary:Provide technical construction of server-side applications.Responsibilities include engineering, maintaining, executing, and improving customer-facing websites.Work hand-in-hand with Marketing and IT teams to enhance digital experiences.Proactively develop solutions to technical challenges.Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy solutions aimed at modernization and consolidation Strategize solution architecture and relational database designManage and extend technical integrations with CMS, CRM, and Marketing Automation systems Create new modules and applications aimed at feature enhancementCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into codeBuild, maintain, and deploy responsive themes and templatesCollaborate and coordinate solutions with design and other team members to develop new services, applications, and database componentsTroubleshoot and address technical issues in productionAssist with requirements gathering Test cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistenciesOrganize, estimate and prioritize development workWork closely with internal teams to identify and develop new web features, enhancement, and improvements.Adhere to and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standardsMaintain graphic standards and consistent branding throughout the product's interfaceAdditional Responsibilities:Meet department and company performance and attendance expectationsFollow privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information Perform other duties as assignedExperience:Minimum three years of hands-on development experience building responsive websites using Drupal 8 or other PHP-based CMS platforms.Previous experience with CSS, PHP HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery required.Experience with Acquia or other cloud-based hosting solutions preferred.Experience creating custom modules, and themes and integrating external services and/or APIs and experience with version Control (Git, Subversion, etc.) preferred.Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science or closely related field, or Programming Certificate from an accredited organization.Knowledge:Required technical experience includes at least three years' experience in Drupal 8 or other open source web CMS.Acquia CMS experience a plus.Comprehensive understanding of back-end development technologies including CSS, HTML, PHP, and Drupal.Advanced proficiency with relational database concepts.Ability to learn new concepts and languages quickly.Ability to work in a team as well as independently.Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.Must be able to engage with all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers.Everest Consultants is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable local, state or federal civil right laws.
