ResponsibilitiesPerspecta has an immediate need for a Lead Security Engineer to support consolidation and modernization of several large systems on a federal contract:The Lead Security Engineer plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information; ensures appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses. The Lead Security Engineer shall be a member of the Contract Management Team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing information security controls for large-scale systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing FISMA compliance for large systems
  • Experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in government or industry leading enterprise-level cyber security efforts involving architecting, designing, development, and configuration of cloud and on premise based systems and software.
  • Implementing and maintaining security controls; providing guidance, oversight, and expertise; and developing security documents to secure and support an ATO.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting all system A&A activities.
  • CAP or CISSP or GSEC or GICSP or CCSP certification at the time of proposal submission of experience.

Qualifications
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • May supervise others.
  • At least 7+ years related work experience.
  • Ability to get Public Trust Clearance
