Associated Transportation Engineers (ATE), a 43-year Santa Barbara engineering company, is seeking a traffic engineering technician to support our transportation planning/traffic engineering activities. This position is responsible for preparing figures and exhibits using AutoCAD, performing field investigations for traffic/parking studies (traffic counts & parking surveys), and assisting with the preparation of written reports. Remote and on-the-job training provided.
Qualifications: Must have HS Diploma, experience with AutoCAD, spreadsheets and word processing, clean-valid California DL, ability to work 20-40 hours weeks with flexible schedule. Good communication skills a plus and owning a personal vehicle for field studies and traffic counts is desirable.
Compensation: Starting salary = $23-$25 depending upon experience. Full benefits available after 90-day probation period (medical, dental, vacation, sick, etc.).
