Personal Assistant for Boulder Senior

Seeking qualified, caring help with the management of care for our mother, a retired CU professor, who recently moved from her home in Boulder to a Louisville Nursing Home.

This job is virtual, no in-person work, so phone and Zoom skills a must!

Flexible hours and varied work include: setting up and facilitating doctor's visits, ordering personal supplies, interfacing with Nursing Home staff, helping virtually by phone with her basic technological needs such as with email, Facebook, etc. basic needs on her computer, TV, Kindle, and phone. Strong inter-personal skills and interest in working with the elderly, patience, ability to listen to and help manage the needs of a person with early-stage Parkinsons living in isolation because of the COVID pandemic. The list of duties could grow as the successful applicant learns the needs of our mother. Someone with clerical skills, social work skills and/or nursing skills highly desired.
