Job Description

Red Gate is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research and Development (RD) Program Management Office (PMO) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract.The acquisition analyst providesrequirements management and acquisition support services across theDTRAResearch and Development (R&D)Directorate portfolio and programs during the research, development and operational phases, tracking capability requirements analyses and assessments status, acquisition strategy research, acquisition strategy development, acquisition package development, decisions, issues and execution, toinclude: supporting critical initiatives, ensure R&D's interests are incorporated into relevant documents, provide process or program support to R&D.

Specific duties include:

  • Development of acquisition documents 

  • Development and coordination of actions and deliverables throughout the acquisition process

  • Tracking of acquisition projects/funding as well as program execution

  • Development of yearly spend plans

  • Development of strategic plan for future acquisition projects, including requirements, contracting plans, project plans or similar

  • Provide experience and knowledge in DoD acquisition management, policies, and processes

  • Participate in team reviews of project status which may include system reviews, design reviews, quarterly and monthly performance reviews and providing formal minutes of the meeting and tracking acquisition-related action items assigned 

  • Work in close collaboration with the Government staff and otherDTRA R&Dprogramteam members

  • Assist in the development and presentation of briefings and reports to government officials and key stakeholders

  • Assist government staff with drafting critical documents and responding to taskers

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctorate with 5-15 yearsofexperience orBachelorswith 5-19or more yearsofexperience or associates degree with 15 or more years' experience
  • DAWIA Level II or FAC-C certified
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills for interface with customers and with team members
