Responsibilities

  • Performs recurring or standardized budgetary/accounting transactions in an automated financial system.
  • Conduct visitor management.
  • Initiate travel authorizations and vouchers.
  • Operate office equipment.
  • Serve as cashier.
  • Maintains invoices and records, accounts for all money, money orders and checks collected by the office.
  • Establish and maintain records and files in a variety of programs.

Examples of specialized experience would include: using a PC to process a wide range of documents, such as graphics, tables; update & revise databases or spreadsheets; working in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.; recognize discrepancies & correct or question originators in such matters as improper formatting & missing information.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
