Small Engine/Two Cycle Mechanic

Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience in general small engine repair shop. Ability to diagnose and determine proper methods and techniques of repair necessary.

Knowledge of Mowing and Landscape equipment

Knowledge of gas golf course equipment

Two Cycle equipment repair

Knowledge of preventive maintenance of two cycle and mowers, blade sharpening, oil changes, etc.

Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of commercial equipment a plus

Welding experience a plus

Able to speak Spanish a plus

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair small engine equipment such as but not limited to string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmer,

blowers and chain saws.

Diagnose and repair mowers of various sizes and makes including both gasoline and diesel.

Maintain and repair spreaders, goats, sod cutters and other landscape maintenance equipment.

Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times

Mixing batches of two cycle fuel

Ordering parts for repairs from vendors

Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

Effectively communicate shop needs/concerns with management
