The club house at Rustic Ridge Golf Course features a warm, friendly, barnwood-style bar, dining room and deck. Prior to the covid situation, we were well known for excellent BBQ ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Lynn's BBQ also served wings, salads, burgers and other grilled and fried items. Now that restrictions are eased and golfers are coming soon, we feel we are ready to serve food again. I am looking for an experienced restaurant entrepreneur to run your own business (or open a new location for an existing business) out of our equipped kitchen. Food only. Beverages would be purchased at our bar. Your customers would be golfers, bar patrons and those coming to dine-in or take-out. Ideas: stay with the BBQ theme (we have a smoker). Another unfilled niche here in Eldridge is Quad City style pizza (similar to Harris, Bad Boyz, Uncle Bill's, Franks, etc.) For that you would need specific experience, a commercial pizza oven and related equipment. Financial help for additional equipment is negotiable. Starting rent would be zero to get you started. Just pay utilities. Food license is already purchased. The right person for this opportunity will have prior success in commercial restaurant management, hiring and training cooks, purchasing food, writing and pricing a menu, keeping books, advertising, and complying with food safety rules. You are expected to have adequate cash to pay for start-up costs.
