Server/Steward position on private yacht located

In Seal Harbor, Maine

Full time position from May-November 2021

Salary of $800 per week

The yacht is used for:

- Short afternoon sightseeing trips

- Dinner cruises with dinner on board 2 to 15 guests

- Take guests by yacht to restaurant with drinks and hors d'ouvres

- Dinner picnics 2-20 guests

Server works 6 nights 6:00-10:30 on average with hours varying as the season progresses. 30 hours per week on average, 5pm arrival time at earliest depending on occasion. The needs of the owner and guest come first. One day off per week at the owner’s discretion.

Server Responsibilities: Working with the Chef and crew to serve the owners and guest dinner nightly on the yacht with occasional dinners at the owner’s residence, and island picnics. Assisting in the galley with washing dishes, and overall clean up nightly following dinner service. Providing exceptional service under any circumstances. Previous fine dinning experience is ideal but not required. Previous server experience is required.

You must be able-bodied; can drive estate vehicles (valid driver’s license); live no further than Ellsworth, clean cut with no visible tattoos and be of sound body and mind. A fit soul and body are much more important than nautical experience. Positive attitude and astute cleanliness is required.
