Live-in Caretaker / Security Full Time

Local property management company in the Twin Cities area is looking for a full time live-in caretaker position at our student housing property. Can be an individual or couple.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, can perform tasks without constant supervision, can prioritize tasks, able to be delegated tasks by a manager, and can perform tasks in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

- Cleaning common areas

- Cleaning and turning apartments

- Painting

- Security / monitoring cameras

- Light maintenance (no skill required)

- Shoveling Sidewalks

- Moving lawn

- Reporting to property manager daily

- Other projects and tasks delegated by property manager

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in caretaking, maintenance, or security a plus

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more

- Willing to live on-site

Compensation:

- 1 bedroom apartment offered on-site for reduced rent (before tax bonus)

- Competitive hourly wage

- Bonuses for holiday work and for certain tasks

- This is a 1099 position
