Golden Ox is Hiring Line Cooks!

Come be a part of Kansas City history, working in the newly renovated Golden Ox Restaurant - where the KC Strip was born, located in the Stockyards District (West Bottoms) of KCMO. This is a very unique opportunity to work at a classic, independently owned establishment with all new amenities! All "scratch" cooking, with an emphasis on the finest cuts of beef, pork & chicken, as well as a spotlight on raw seafood and local vegetables.

Potential candidates shall possess:

-2+ years professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen

-knife skills, protein breakdown, general knowledge of high quality ingredients

-experience on a wood burning grill a plus!

-attention to detail and respect for the food

-well kempt (open kitchen)

-timeliness and a sense of urgency

-good attitude goes a long way - will train regardless of experience
