- Experience of 5+ years and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI
- Hands on experience on Power BI Architecture - sizing, connectivity, RBAC
- Hands on experience on building reports & dashboards in Power BI
- Knowledge of Power BI bursting & performance optimziation
- Hands on experience on Delta Lake & PySQL
- Hands on experience on Snowflake SnowSQL
- Power BI development and administration.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
- Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
- Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
- Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
- Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as AWS/Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, Visual Studio, etc.
- Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI.
- Very Good Communication Skill
- 7+ yrs of hands on experience on Databricks - sizing, mounting, database, schema, RBAC
- Hands on experience on scripting tools like Python & Shell
- Hands on experience on Delta Lake
- Knowledge of Spark - Dataframes, PySQL, Spark Libraries
- Knowledge of AWS S3, AWS Kinesis, AWS DMS
- Well versed in concepts around logging, monitoring, re-startability etc
- Strong knowledge of Data Management principles
- Experience in building ETL / data warehouse transformation processes
- Direct experience of building data pipelines using AWS/Azure Data Factory and Apache Spark (preferably Databricks).
- Experience using geospatial frameworks on Apache Spark and associated design and development patterns
- Hands on experience designing and delivering solutions
- Experience with Apache Kafka / Nifi for use with streaming data / event-based data
- Experience with Open Source non-relational / NoSQL data repositories (incl. MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J)
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data including imaging & geospatial data.
- Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment with tools
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Snowflake Developer with 6-8 years of experience in SQL Development and Data Analysis required to develop a new complex data warehouse. Should have the following skills
- Hands on experience on Snowflake Architecture - Warehouse sizing, data structures, RBAC
- Hands on experience on scripting tools like Python & Shell
- Hands on experience on Snowflake SnowSQL
- Experience in Snowflake performance optimization
- Knowledge of AWS S3, AWS Kinesis, AWS DMS
- Well versed in concepts around logging, monitoring, re-startability etc
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud services
- 6+ years of recent Snowflake experience
- Experience in Database like Oracle / AWS RDS etc
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe,
- Able to administer and monitor Snowflake computing platform
- Hands on experience with data load and manage cloud DB
- Experience in creation and modification of user accounts and security groups per request
- Handling large and complex sets of XML, JSON, and CSV from various sources and databases
- Solid grasp of database engineering and design
- Experience with any scripting languages, preferably Python
- Strong Communication skill
