The focus is on ensuring business activities remain safe, compliant, and well positioned for future opportunity and sustainable growth.This role assists in the execution of the project deliverables including but not limited to creation of training materials, report inventory, analysis of all identified reports, conduct enterprise survey of key reports and tally up findings, documentation of all key reports and their owners, etc. The Senior Analyst will also contribute to the identification of risks and the resolution of issues that may arise during the course of the project.

Key responsibilities:
  • Creates training materials, hosts training sessions/workshops and maintains training records for client’s Report Stakeholders (Owners, Preparers, Reviewers) as part of adoption of the Enterprise Report Governance Policy
  • Leads the identification and inventory of client’s Report Inventory and Report Stakeholders
  • Enroll report stakeholders in the active management of key report’s documentation practices. This includes completing reporting survey/questionnaires, hosting review and challenge sessions between the client’s Data Governance team and other applicable 2nd LOD function
  • Responsible for maintaining and governing a library of enterprise key reports with associated report metadata in accordance to Reporting Policy guidelines
  • Serves as a liaison between Report Owners, Report Preparers, and the Data Governance team to ensure that report profiles are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood
  • Support the reviews and challenges of report stakeholder’s inputs into the various surveys, questionnaires, and report profiles
  • Support the identification and/or reviews of key report documentation gap in accordance with the Enterprise Report Governance policy
  • Executes a reliable second-line-of defense process and functions via documented processes, controls, templates, and rigors such as creating/enhancing reporting survey/questionnaire templates
  • Creates management reports/metrics illustrating policy adoption status, as well as related project progress dashboards
  • Maintains detailed meeting minutes, decisions, and outputs of meetings with key stakeholders

Project management related deliverables:
  • Ensures assigned deliverables in accordance with the reporting policy adoption project and roadmap are completed on time
  • Documents and maintains project deliverables activities, maintains logs, and records issues and corresponding resolutions
  • Produces project /report status dashboards on a recurring basis
  • Manage documentation as well as remediation of key data and project issues
  • Maintains ongoing communication with report stakeholders to ensure critical issues are communicated timely for remediation

Required qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with providing data governance function and related operations
  • Prefer 3 years of banking experience, preferably in regulatory and financial reporting
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of consultancy and facilitation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Data Governance or Business Administration. Master's Degree in a related field is strongly desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, ability to articulate progresses and issues to senior level management
  • Experience working and effectively collaborating with reporting, operations, and technology teams.
  • Familiarity with operational and support environment issues.
  • Must be driven, operationally savvy, action-oriented who continually strives for improvement.
  • Strong critical thinking ability and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently with light to moderate supervision in various areas of responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal/written communication skills and strong project management skills.
  • Experience consulting with senior management
  • Thorough knowledge and operational skills in the Data Governance
  • Thorough knowledge of personal computers and various software packages, including Excel and Word.
