TSR is a premier National U.S. Staffing company with over 50 years of staffing excellence.Our client, a leading Brokerage company is hiring a GRC Data Analyst on a Contract to Hire basis.Work Location: Remote Until Covid Subsides - eventually Alpharetta, GADuration: 1 year extendable Contract to HireAbout the RoleThe Cyber Governance, Risk, Optimization (GRO) team has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a talented, enthusiastic team member to assist us with our Data Governance & Protection Program. The Cyber GRO Data Governance Analyst will drive the execution of the Data Governance & Protection program, including remediation of identified issues. This position requires strong collaboration and organization skills, knowledge of data governance and practices, and experience with Varonis DatAdvantage and DataPrivilege.Responsibilities:

  • Use a risk-based approach to analyze identified issues and develop a tactical plan to remediate identified issues
  • Coordinate and collaborate with data and folder owners to remediate data issues: folder access, missing folder owner(s), stale data, etc.
  • Report on key data governance metrics
  • Assist with the Data Governance & Protection program communication plan
  • Maintain evidential data and/or documents to support the execution of the Program
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in data governance
  • Experience with at least one of the following: PCI, CCPA, GLBA, and PHI
  • Strong understanding of Varonis DatAdvantage and DataPrivilege
  • 2+ years experience in business facing roles: product owner, program owner, .etc.
  • Experience with governance, risk, compliance, security, data governance (including data life cycle management)
Preferred:
  • Experience with data management / data governance concepts, approaches, and strong understanding of the role of data governance
  • Understanding of data lifecycle from the point of inception/creation to its consumption, retention/archival and destruction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate across a broad spectrum of personnel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to function in a fast pace complex environment
