The Senior Industrial Applications Developer is responsible for the integration and implementation of manufacturing intelligence software solutions to support Digital Initiatives. The Industrial Applications group creates innovative reporting and real-time operational dashboards that blend data from the factory floor with business applications. The developer interacts with business stakeholders and collaborates with technical staff across disciplines such as Controls Engineering, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing. Project activities support innovative solutions to increase efficiencies at factories using predictive analytics, digitized recipe control, and automated dashboards.Industry 4.0 and digital transformation is a core focus of the Industrial Applications developer, including a commitment to the User Experience (UX) that promotes efficiency, usability, and satisfaction. This individual will assist in design and implementation of IIoT technologies and cloud-based analytics using best practices of modern data architectures.
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years IT experience
- 5+ years of experience working on Software Development lifecycle
- 2+ years relational database development
- Experience using and developing in relational databases
- Experience developing on Oracle database as well as understanding of basic relational database tables and PL/SQL
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS)
- Experience with Industrial Applications Ignition software or similar SCADA technologies
- Experience developing in Oracle database and PL/SQL
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Linux OS and shell scripting
- Experience with data analysis, reporting techniques and user experience design (UX)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies
- Experience with Tableau reporting
