SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:This individual will focus on daily operations consisting of but not limited to: maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting of all backup infrastructure software/hardware. This individual will also help to secure and maintain backup software/hardware configurations in accordance to agency policies and procedures.This individual has 24/7 on-call responsibilities shared with the group. This individual must be able to transfer knowledge of developed processes to existing team. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• Backup fundamentals and terminology• Backup infrastructure configuration and maintenance• Software and tools used for managing backups• Vulnerability analysis and remediation methods• Security policy and procedures PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• Veeam availability suite (Veeam backup & replication, Veeam One, Veeam Enterprise Manager)• NetApp FAS Storage Systems• Windows Server 2016-2019• Windows Failover Cluster Manager• Windows File Server Resource Manager• Windows PowerShell Scripting• Linux OS• VMWare VShpere VM Management• Network fundamentals• Basic Active Directory Administration
