Come work as a short-term temporary PC Technician in the Augusta, Georgia, region.How you will make an impact- Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed- Collaborate to test functionality and provide end user support- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Dismantle, box and ship outdated equipment- Manage imaging and preparation for new computers- Handle disassembly, boxing, movement and setup/installation on site- Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis- Install printers, and troubleshoot and repair issues- Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out- Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix- Follow company quality standards to ensure the integrity of all electronic data records- Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment Requirements - Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is preferred- Deep understanding of Communication Skills- MS Windows 10 experience desired- Desktop Imaging experience preferred- CompTIA A+ certification obligatory- 2+ years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds- Detailed and have the ability work independently Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
