Position Location: Atlanta GA preferred, also open to Mason OH, Richmond VA, Norfolk VA, and Wallingford CT for the most qualified applicant Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects. This position may be hired at either the Systems Analyst Sr or Systems Analyst Advisor level based upon candidate's skills and experience. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:- Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
- Lead discussions cross teams to layout functional behavior of IT systems and define IT solutions for proposed future states.
- Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.
- Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
- Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
- In depth knowledge of tools utilized.
- Works with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and performs estimates for application functionality enhancements.
- Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
- Develops use cases.
- Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field; 3 or more years related experience at the Sr level, 6 or more years at the Advisor level; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires prior healthcare/payor industry experience in Product/Benefits domain, with a deep understanding of Benefits/Plan configuration.
- Prior Anthem work experience in Product domain would be preferred
- Expertise in tools like Visio, Draw.io to create solution context diagrams preferred.
- F-AHM or P-AHM Certifications preferred.
