Female adult foster home relief caregiver

5 residents. Some mild dementia. No insulin diabetics, behavior issues or wanderers. Well run house with established routine. Single caregiver on shift. No night care. Responsible for assisting with ADLs, cooking, med management, laundry, and light cleaning. Compared to nursing home/memory care this position is a vacation! Independent, Flexible, even temperament with ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize caregiving. Prior to hire must complete DHS pre-service dementia training (free online or 8hr class through oregoncarepartners.com), initiate state background check, and become CPR certified within 30 days of hire. Must be an effective communicator, detail oriented, dependable, healthy, have reliable transportation, and enjoy proficient cooking. No extended personal visitors or pets while on shift.
