THE COMPANY:

Oregon Green Clean is a rapidly-growing, locally-owned small business providing quality house cleaning services within the Portland Metro Area, plus Salem & Vancouver. We use eco-friendly cleaning products, are known for safety, reliability and customer service, and are insured, bonded and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. We donate a portion of all sales to the environmental advocacy group Oregon Wild. For more about our company, please see www.oregongreenclean.com. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in house cleaning? Do you like the sense of accomplishment after completing a task, helping someone get their life back in order, or helping them sell their house? This job requires a level of personal responsibility, as you would usually be working alone at customer homes, guided by their cleaning priorities and by our time management methods. For repeat customers, you would be returning to the same home multiple times, building a trusting relationship with the customer and their family. This job requires driving to customer homes, and some paid prep time before each shift. (You will be working with a supervisor during training and on some other occasions. More details below under "Requirements".)GEOGRAPHIC AREA:

We are looking to add a house cleaner to help us with current and future customers in Woodburn, Silverton & North Marion County. Depending on your actual home location, you may be assigned to some customers in NE Salem or Keizer. Even if not normally assigned to these areas, you may be asked to work there during training, or to later support your teammates during absences, as they would also support you. Details will be discussed at the interview. Applicants should live in or near Marion County. HOURS:

All positions will begin as part-time, around 10-20 hours per week. Potentially increasing to 30 to 40 hours per week upon employee availability and business growth. Most shifts begin at 8am or 9am and end between 12pm and 5pm. Applicants should be available for at least 3 half-days or 2 full days. We can work around college classes or other obligations that have a consistent schedule. Ideal for parents who can work a half-day while your children are in school! Saturdays are optional. No Sundays, holidays, or evenings. No overtime; maximum of 40 hours per week. SALARY:

Starting salary is $14 per hour. Some assignments are paid more, when they represent a higher level of difficulty and responsibility. Some rate increases are based on length of service & total hours worked with us. Some raises and bonuses are contingent upon employee performance, reliability, and leadership, as well as upon business growth. Some mileage and expenses are reimbursed tax-free. Some customers provide tips. No benefits are available for new-hires; limited benefits for longer-term employees. Sorry, no health insurance. REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must be age 18 or older, eligible to work in the U.S., undergo a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screening, and have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto liability insurance. Because our customers expect consistent service, applicants should be prepared to commit to a minimum of 6 months, preferably 12 months or longer.

Prospective employees should be able to follow verbal and written directions, and have good communication and customer service skills, requiring strong English proficiency. You should work well in a team situation, and also be able to make independent decisions and work with little supervision. Safe, functional clothing should have no visible holes, rips, stains, logos, words or pictures (we will provide some company t-shirts).
