Responsibilities
  • Define functional requirements and develop detailed designs to meet operational outcomes and conform to customer requirements.
  • Develop strategies and solutions for on-boarding contract manufacturers with respect to systems integration, fulfillment and data collection.
  • Define solutions that allow for timely and accurate measurement of Contract Manufacturing performance.
  • Design and Develop solutions that enable alerts that make pro-active intervention possible such that negative customer impact can be avoided or mitigated.
  • Design and Develop system solutions that can fail to a safe status to preserve data and recover from disruptions of service within defined time periods.
  • Design and Develop solutions that support data analytics best practices for data visualizations and root cause investigation.
  • Recommend improvements for Manufacturing Execution Systems at client sites to drive operational improvements.
  • Analyze manufacturing needs and convert them into deliverable solutions.
  • Collaborate with content and training organizations to develop reference documentation and educational materials for partners and internal resources related to manufacturing systems.

Requirements
  • At least 15 years of Manufacturing Systems development and experience.
  • Proficient in EDI solutions, protocols and implementation.
  • Hands on experience in most or all of the following supply chain functional areas: Assemble to Order, Build to Order, Build to Forecast-Ship to Order, Direct Ship, Drop Ship, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Systems Integration / EDI, Logistics and Trade Compliance, Order Management, Factory Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing Quality, Product Data Management, NPI.
  • Excellent communication, creative, critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, project management, teamwork and organization skills
  • Experience around databases and SQL.

Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar related disciplines.
  • Six Sigma and / or DMAIC trained.
  • Experience with any of the following: Oracle, SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile, I2.
  • Experience with Design to Manufacturing best practices.
  • Direct experience with SMT production or design of SMT production lines.
  • Skills with one or more programming languages such as C, C#, ASP, VB.NET, Java, Perl, Python.
  • Professional affiliations such as IEEE.
  • Experience with machine learning, AI and machine predictability solutions.
