Implementation Coordinator

This opportunity is with an outstanding Dallas corporation in the Transportation / Logistics industry seeking a Coordination Manager supporting the on-boarding and implementation of their TMS software as the key customer service contact for their client Corporations.

• Work closely with customer’s IT team to fully understand technical requirements (current and future) and proactively identify issues to propose and implement solutions
• Develop full understanding of customer’s current methods of operations and help develop, test and deploy the solution in a manner that supports and enables the customer’s strategic directions
• Become SPoC SME to assist with the setup of Operational processes and procedures to support new customers.
• Help develop a project plan and timeline for implementation including scope and budget considerations.
• Provide ongoing professional communications regarding project progress, unexpected situations, scope creep and change management and other related project communication.
• Help align Customer expectations with implementation metrics that communicate financial and service value
• Elicit and document business requirements to support development and test of the solution.
• Deliver requirements to business users, developers, and customers.
• Become an SME of the software platform and processes to to help identify opportunity for improvement and increased Customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the testing process for: unit, integration, regression, and performance to improve quality and decrease future defects.
• Help plan and schedule efforts across the enterprise based on development Cycles and resource requirements.

• Strong knowledge of project management principle and experience leading small teams for software development and/or implementation.
• Strong knowledge of software applications, modules, features, and functionality
• Strong understanding and experience with TMS, Supply Chain, Trucking Logistics, and/or Shipping industries including terminology.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Tools including Excel and Word, Outlook, Lync, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Experience developing flowcharts and other documentation to represent the flow of Customer's supply chain and understand their KPI's.
• Solid understanding of geography of the US as how it relates to distance an time.
