We are seeking a highly analytical and passionate software engineer with 10+ years’ experience in the Java development domain to work within the Enterprise Connectivity Department of a Fortune 500 company creating cutting-edge modern services and application.This is a SENIOR-LEVEL technical anchor role, and experience with Google Cloud and some type of technical leadership is required.Modis offers medical benefits, stable work environment, and for those who require it, full sponsorship including processing.This is a LONG-TERM opportunity!Ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Experience as a technical lead or team anchor, and assisting team members with technical blockers and mentoring.
- Spring platform, especially Spring Boot.
- Cloud native development on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Development of modern web services (RESTful).
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and pair programming.
- Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins CI or similar).
- Experience with Swagger, logging/tracing, Circuit Breaker/Hystrix, Spring Security, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with architecting and implementing 12 factor apps using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud including; Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud.
- Continuous Delivery process refinement and tool sets such as Jenkins.
- Ability to work independently, provide thought leadership, and forward thinking.
