Location: Southfield, MI Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project ManagerThe IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for the development, design and ongoing tracking of IT infrastructure-based projects. Projects would include network, hardware, software, hosting, and application services. This role holds significant responsibility for leading, managing and driving projects to successful completion. This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support IT goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Conducts project meetings including: project kickoff, design, updates, issues, executive briefings, closeout, etc.
  • Coordinates the design and delivery of IT solutions with functional experts from various teams.
  • Advises and implements IT network technology based on company standard requirements, methodology, and processes.
  • Creates and/or contributes to any project plans.
  • Provides infrastructure hardware and software bill of materials (BOM), quotations and vendor information as required.
  • Coordinates equipment receipt and scheduling of IT engineering services required for any project.
  • Monitor and drive all related project tasks to completion from the project plan.
  • Escalates project issues to resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating standards documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP Certification
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in IT Infrastructure
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of PMI project methodology
  • Broadbased knowledge of IT processes, methodologies, and technologies Knowledge of network topology concepts
  • Experience using SharePoint for collaboration and project management
  • Experience using MS Project
  • Software application implementation methodology experience (ie. Agile, SCRUM) a plus
  • ITIL service lifecycle principles knowledge a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
