STAFF TO MANAGE: 1 new hands-on Manager/ Analyst to start. This position envisions leading a team responsible for data reporting, technology solutions, and analytical processes to support the Company’s business functions.

  • Extensive experience (12+ years) in data modeling and business intelligence solutions
    • Architecting business intelligence, ETL, application, and database solutions
    • Hands-on SQL development and data modeling
    • Experience in Database Management, setting up databases, standby, reporting database
    • Experience in Cube and Node Database
    • Demonstrable skills and experience with relevant software solutions such as MS Access, OLAP, SQL Server, Postgres, Tableau, DOMO, XML, JSON, Mongo, SSRS, SSIS, Oracle and MS Excel are required
    • Proficient in Database Replication, Standby database management and highly available database architecture with 99.99% availability
    • Tuning of database queries, views, sql optimization and maintenance of overall database health
    • Analyzing complex data, managing multiple projects of varying difficulty / complexity
    • Developing sophisticated effective solutions within budget
    • Ability to solve advanced-level, complicated problems with minimal supervision
  • Capability to take raw concepts to solutions
    • Excellent project management and organization skills
    • Ability to take rudimentary requirements or concepts, and research/collaborate to generate actionable requirements, then deliver on the requirements

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities for the position include:
  • Develop, extend and maintain infrastructure, process, and technology for data gathering/reporting, including:
    • Analytic tools, functions and capabilities to support key business functions like fleet management, operations and customer service
    • Reporting tools to track and manage performance at multiple levels
    • Understand database structure and processes, and contribute to the development and execution of effective data mining processes, including: dataset preparation; data cleansing; data exploration; modeling; model deployment; and model assessment
    • Employ SQL to construct datasets from various databases/tables, ensure data integrity and otherwise prepare datasets for analysis
    • Build required infrastructure, reporting analyses and strategic databases
    • Monitor database health check and provide reports
    • Monitor all DB related jobs to work effectively and efficiently
    • Add open source tools to monitor and improve performance
  • Rapid delivery of Analysis and Insights
    • Apply statistical methods on car rental systems data to help identify business barriers
    • Develop models to generate forecasts and forward-looking insights to support business decision-makers
    • Provide strategic insight to advance FOX’s business plan with key partners, vendors, other stakeholders
    • Provides oversight and continued advancement of FOX’s analytics capabilities, solutions and platforms
    • Deliver quality data validation and analysis needed to successfully meet quality reporting requirements, and performance dashboards development
    • Develop and supervise a team of analytics and business intelligence professionals
  • Seamless Collaboration and Support
    • Collaborate with business units to analyze, design, build, test, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and other data extracts
    • Oversee exchange of data between FOX and its partners, contracted vendors, and other key stakeholders
    • Partner with IT to develop and maintain short- and long-term data infrastructure and analytic tools to ensure efficient analytic operations
    • Review DB code before production releases
  • Other duties as assigned and relevant to the scope of the position
