Seeking part-time Office Administrator/Legal Assistant for immediate hire. This position has the potential to expand to full time in the future.
CAFFRY LAW is a small, special needs and estate planning law firm in Waterbury, VT.
This position involves office management, bookkeeping, legal support, and some marketing responsibilities.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as online banking. Experience with Clio desired, but not required.
Job tasks include:
- Cashflow management, bank deposits, client invoicing, and payroll
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
- Data-sharing with CPA for tax liabilities, income tax returns and W-2s
- Managing and maintaining insurance coverage, attorneys’ dues, subscriptions, notary statuses, corporate registrations, IT service, office supplies, etc.
- Phone and mail management
- Scheduling/office calendar management
- Maintain and organize client files
- Draft correspondence and legal documents for two attorneys
- Assist with client signing meetings
- Manage office marketing efforts, media, and social media
Long-term, part-time position. Hourly wage.
