A beautiful sporting camp in northern Maine is looking for a Lead Chef to join their small team. The chef is responsible for preparing dinner for all of the guests of the camp. Dinners are coursed and the chef would be responsible for preparing soup/salad course, a full entree, and dessert for the guests.

The perfect candidate will need to be well versed in allergen information and able to accommodate meals for vegan, vegetarian, gluten/dairy-free, etc., guests. Enjoy your time off in the wilderness of Maine and inside your own private cabin. The summer is the slow season for us so you will have extra time in Maine's warm months to travel and explore. During the height of the season, the chef is working 7 days a week while still averaging a 40-hour workweek. Responsibilities include managing the inventory of the kitchen, local food sourcing, and shopping, managing all orders for the kitchen as well as its cleanliness and functionality.
