We want to provide solutions that enable them to reach their objectives by connecting them with the right audience via the public conversation.What you’ll do:The Senior Staff role is an IC leadership role, roughly equivalent to a “director level” engineer. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building products and taking them to market, designing effective partnerships, shaping our engineering culture, mentoring and coaching our technical leads, and more.You will work across the stack and partner closely with technical leaders and senior management across all of engineering, data science, research, product, and design. You will be a technical leader with substantial autonomy who will work to enable effective collaboration, high velocity execution, while ensuring product and technical excellence.Qualifications
Who you are:You are an experienced senior IC engineering leader with extensive experience building products and taking them to market, identifying problems, coming up with product and technical solutions, and driving complex projects to completion. You care about culture, mentorship, collaboration, and partnership just as much as you care about coding, architecture, and technical design. You have a strong customer focus, you are comfortable with ambiguity, you can drive alignment, and you make thoughtful data driven decisions. You care deeply about quality, are energized by partnership and collaboration, and you strive to enable others around you to excel.Qualifications:- BA/BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of industry experience, 5+ years experience in technical leadership roles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong ability to influence cross-functionally
- Experience building products, taking them to market, and iterating and improving them over time
- Passion for products like publishing platforms, editors for writers, content management systems, news reading apps, curation tools
