Deli Worker

Camano Plaza IGA, locally owned & operated supermarket, is currently hiring for Deli Clerks. We are looking for full-time employees. We offer competitive wages based on experience. Full-Time employees qualify for Medical, Dental and Vision benefits after 60 days. Other benefits include 401k match, holiday pay, vacation pay, and a tuition assistance program.

Deli Team Member:

- Strong customer service skills

- Positive and friendly attitude

- Making and maintaining service and grab and go sections

- Frying, baking and preparing foods for service case

- Work with equipment: meat & cheese slicers, cutting tools, oven, fryers, microwaves, scales, & other deli equipment

- Assisting in monthly inventories

- Price marking

- Ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation

- Follow all inventory control procedures to maximize product freshness & quality

- Flexible scheduling: evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

- Applicants must be in possession of a valid Washington State Food Worker card.

- High School education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Able to lift up to 50lbs

- Previous food service experience preferred
