The Executive Chef directs all activities of the BOH. The Executive Chef is responsible for the quality of meals served, current trends sprinkled in with the classics, and compliance with special dietary needs of our valued members.

Competitive Salary ($52,000-$57,000) based on experience and culinary level.

What you do for us:

Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching in the kitchen department.

Follow and create the Menu Program that meets nutritional requirements.

Handles all administration of the kitchen, including menu creation, inventory, scheduling, budgeting, food costs, shopping vendors.

Ensure that all foods are prepared to satisfaction of members and in accordance with safe food handling practices.

Circulate in the dining room to ascertain member preferences and satisfaction with meals.

Maintain a clean kitchen including all equipment, walls, ceilings, vents, dry storage, cold storage, cooking areas, and preparation surfaces and dish storage areas.

Foster teamwork with co-workers, take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, treat others with respect, and have a positive impact on co-workers, members, and guests.

Attend a weekly manager meeting and monthly house committee meeting.

Perform other duties as assigned or needed by the General Manager.

Employment requirements:

Must have compassion and desire to work with our dynamic staff!

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of continued education preferred.

5+ years of experience in food services preparation and 3-5 years’ managing staff required.

Current Serv/Safe Certification required. Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
