Position Description
The Director is responsible for overseeing all department operations and supervising Clean Team staff members.
This position is hourly, Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
Duties
Oversee daily duties of sweeping, trash removal, painting, pressure washing, watering, snow removal and seasonal projects
Coordinates team schedules, prepares payroll reporting for submission to Human Resources, performs employment interviews and employee performance evaluations
Participate and coordinate training sessions and meetings as needed
Maintain a communication and positive relationship with businesses property owners, City staff and respond proactively to needs
Plan and coordinate seasonal functions including equipment, staffing and priority locations
Track and monitor project progress, including monthly outcomes reporting
Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and maintenance schedule
Remain up-to-date on required supplies and products
Enforce all workplace policies and procedures, including OSHA
Address and report any concerns in a timely manner, injuries, sicknesses, etc
Articulate and build a team around the vision for the company
Design and implement flower planter program for 170 planters

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years minimum of management experience required
Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance and/or landscaping preferred but not required
Current driver’s license, insurable, have dependable transportation and able to operate all vehicles and equipment
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, and 10 pounds regularly
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to walk and stand for up to eight hours per day, five days a week
Ability to sit, bend and stoop; able to perform all duties of each Clean Team position
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English effectively
Must pass drug test and background check prior to hiring
