We are hiring various event day positions to assist with operations at Breese Stevens Field. Various events at the stadium include Forward Madison FC soccer matches, Madison Radicals Ultimate Frisbee, Madison East High football, large-scale concerts, and various festivals/entertainment. We are willing to work around existing schedules, however ability to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights is a must. Available Positions:

Concessions (Manager/Supevisor) – Concessions Supervisors are the leaders and backbone(s) of the food and beverage experience. They are expected to oversee food and beverage stands and operations while ensuring food and beverage employees greet and accommodate customers with a positive attitude and a smile while fulfilling orders and requests in an accurate and timely manner. Other responsibilities include overseeing cleanliness of F&B areas in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Dept. of Public Health, assisting in the training of employees, maintaining a positive, safe, and fun work environment, and working with chefs and other mgmt. to surpass high organizational standards of customer service and fan experience. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and work well in group settings. Candidates should also have a functional undertsanding of safe and efficient food and beverage practices.

Concessions (CASHIER/RUNNER) – Cashiers are the face of the food and beverage experience. They are expected to greet and accommodate customers with a positive attitude and a smile. Cashiers are responsible for managing cash and credit transactions at each of our concessions areas while processing accurate and timely concessions orders. Runners serve as liaisons between the Grillers and Cashiers to fill the customer’s order. They’re focus is on efficiently receiving the customer’s order from the cashier and working with the grillers to produce the products that they need to complete the order. Runners are accessible to customers and should be helpful and responsive to their wants, needs, and concerns. Cashiers and Runners are generally interchangeable based on company needs. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and work well in group settings.

Concessions (COOK) – Responsible for ensuring fans/customers receive the freshest food possible in a timely manner. Grillers will follow specific food preparation and sanitation guidelines designed to create a consistently quality product. Interested candidates should have experience in a kitchen environment, and be able to work in a fast paced, hot environment.

Dishwashers – Responsible for washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes and utensils according to proper procedures explained by the concessions manager. Additionally dishwashers may have a role assisting the concessions managers and grillers when there are no dishes.

Buffet Captain – Oversees the buffets in the different hospitality locations around the ballpark. Makes sure that warmers are on and hot, pans are flipped when nearing empty, buffet is clean and organized, utensils and condiments are filled and needs of customers are met.

Buffet Assistant - Works with buffet capatins and other Food and Beverage Mgmt. to stock stands prior to gates opening and to maintain clean and stocked buffet areas where applicable.

Hospitality Servers – Provide service to the suite customers, including but not limited to; preparing the suite with food and beverage for the event, maintaining suite cleanliness, and providing a positive experience for all members of the group. Suite servers must be at least 18 years of age and have an outgoing personality. Must be able to climb stairs and lift 10-15 pounds and hot pans on a regular basis.

Hospitality Runners – Provide food and beverage to the suites; must bring dishes to different locations throughout the ballpark in a timely manner. Must be able to climb stairs and lift 10-15 pounds and hot pans on a regular basis.

Warehouse – Responsible for the movement of product throughout the ballpark as well as helping keep a clean and organized work environment. Warehouse staff consists of a beer (kegs and cases) moving crew (18 or older) who are responsible for changing and moving beer to keep areas stocked throughout the duration of the event. Other warehouse staff will be responsible for transfer of non-beer related items from storage locations to various concessions locations throughout the park. This position requires heavy lifting.

Labor Crew Member – Labor crew employees are expected to have a positive attitude, work well in group settings, and be able to work in a fast paced environment and do heavy lifting and moving. The labor crew will be involved in event set up, including but not limited to: flipping event spaces and changing out tables, cleaning, setting up stages and other platforms, putting up walls, and more. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Stadium Usher – Directs fans to their seats and answers any questions they may have. This requires an increased knowledge of Breese Stevens Field and its various areas and a willingness to inquire with full-time staff if needed to ensure our fans are receiving the correct information in a kind and timely manner. Ushers are also responsible for maintaining an orderly parking system. Ushers and Parking attendants are generally interchangeable based on company needs.

Parking Attendant – Responsible for guiding guests into parking spots within the various designated parking areas, ensuring safe entrance into the parking lots, and managing the flow of traffic. Ushers and Parking attendants are generally interchangeable based on company needs.

Kids Zone Attendant – Responsible for attending to the Kids Zone games. Must have a friendly and positive attitude and be good with kids and parents. Ability to take and count tickets accurately, handle cash, handle prizes, and assist in the set up and tear down of the Kids Zone every game day.

Security Personnel - Security Personnel provides safety and security for attendees, staff, coaches, players, entertainment acts, facility assets, equipment, etc. Security personnel monitors entry and exit points to the stadium; assists with set-up, tear-down, and execution of metal detectors, and monitors fans and areas to ensure the safety and security of the facility and guests during events at Breese Stevens Field. Duties include, but are not limited to: bag checks, escorting players, coaches, and other staff through public spaces, and dealing with uncooperative or intoxicated persons in accordance with company procedures. Security personnel must be at least 18 years of age and possess strong communication skills and ability to be flexible.

Retail Specialist - Work in the club shop on gamedays, store events, and weekends as needed. Forward Madison FC will offer a variety of work such as sorting, pricing, stocking, arranging merchandise displays, cashiering and customer service. Responsibilities: Assist FMFC fans find memorabilia and official team gear, Provide exceptional customer service, Operate register and follow cash handling procedures, Maintain store appearance and merchandise standards, Ensure store tasks are completed in a timely manner on assigned shifts.
