Oyster Shuckers are front and center to the Jax Experience. Perched behind our live oyster bar, shuckers are often the first face our guests see when they walk into Jax. Equal parts service and kitchen staff, candidates must be passionate about mollusks and willing and able to share knowledge about the variety of shellfish options we offer to our staff and guests alike, detail oriented, well organized, well versed in proper steps of service and thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Selfless hospitality is paramount to providing a remarkable guest experience and creating a positive environment throughout the restaurant. Candidates should be the ultimate utility player, be eager to learn, cool under pressure and adaptable. Here’s the skinny

- Full-Time (full-availability: nights & weekends)

- Team Service Tip Pool Model (we share tips among all hourly employees!)

- Estimated hourly wage $20 - $25 per hour (with opportunity to earn more!)
