We are looking for a skilled Body Shop Repair Technician to join our busy Collision Center team. We are hiring now for experienced Body Shop Techs who have at least 5 years of experience. That means relationships with our employees, our customers, and our community.What we offer:Competitive Pay Plan and great benefits!Full-time positionMajor Medical InsurancePaid Vacation401(k) Retirement PlanState-of-the-art Service CenterCareer advancement potentialResponsibilities - Body Shop Repair Technician:Body Techs examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs.Automotive Body Technicians remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.Body Techs position dolly block against surface of dented area and beat opposite surface to remove dents, using hammer.Auto Body Techs fill depressions with body filler, using putty knife.Body Techs remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, using wrenches and cutting torch.Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment.Straighten bent automobile frames, using a pneumatic frame straightening machine.File, grind and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.Refinish repaired surface, using paint spray gun and sander.Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake system.Paint surfaces after performing body repairs.Repair or replace defective mechanical partsQualifications/Requirements - Body Shop Repair Technician:A minimum of 5 years’ experience is required in the following skills:Unibody frame-straightening abilitySpot welding and body panel repair abilityGeneral straightening of damaged body panelsI-Car Certification is preferred, but not required!Must hold valid driver's licenseTeam oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceMust take pride in your work in restoring vehicles to their pre-collision conditionWorking knowledge of shop equipmentResume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.We are an equal opportunity employer.
