Title: Technical Documentation Associate - OCU Job id : XXXXXX00004642 Location: Seymour, Indiana, 47274 Duration: 09 months Pay Rate : $17.50/HR on W2. Description: Responsibilities Southern Indiana Position Only Job Summary Documents engine and component products, including applications, and engineering and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Applies and provides input into the development of product definition and other relevant standards and rules for documenting engine and component products, including applications, and engineering and manufacturing processes. ? Supports work in workflow area, and interfaces with other areas such as engineering and drafting to ensure that requirements are aligned. ? Acquires, reviews, analyzes, and interprets engineering item relationships, compatibilities, and dependencies; documents relationship, compatibility, and dependency information in database using current and developing technology. ? Develops, compiles, publishes, and maintains engineering and/or manufacturing documentation, such as product specifications and other technical documentation; develops, maintains, and corrects the structure for engine and component product using appropriate configuration management rules and guidelines; develops, evaluates, tracks, and maintains evolving data for new product introduction. ? Enforces product and process structure and procedure. ? Interfaces and communicates with internal customers; directs people to the appropriate resource; researches solutions and responds to email and phone inquiries. ? Participates in the development and maintenance of improvement processes; actively participates in self- and team audits and resulting process improvements. ? Participates productively as a team member. ? Understands the structure of the organization and develops a strong network across departments; draws on network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities. ? Demonstrates confidentiality in execution of all responsibilities. ? Performs other duties as required, to get the job done. ? Travel as required by work. Experience & Knowledge Essential Education, Licenses, Certifications: ? High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. ? Some college education in an analytical or mechanical/technical field preferred. ? Mechanical and analytical aptitude and interest required. ? Computer skills (Excel and Powerpoint) required. Experience: ? At least one year of relevant experience required. NOTE: The manager is looking for candidates who have knowledge of logistics to assist with maintaining parts of existing inventory. Must have great attention to detail and prioritizing skills.
