IMG - providing information technology (IT), information assurance (IA), and visual communication services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time Program Support Specialist at its Fairfax, VA location.ResponsibilitiesThe Program Support Specialist will support and assist Program Managers (PMs) with the management of all services and personnel, and supporting all aspects of Operations. The Program Support Specialist will work collaboratively with the Government PM, COR and Contracting Office. Under the guidance of the PM, the candidate shall assist in the overall management of this program and ensure that the contractual, financial, staffing and operational solutions and schedules in the program are implemented in a timely manner. The expected duties of this position include:- Collaborate with program managers and functional teams: contracts, procurement, billing, finance, security, and human resources to facilitate smooth, efficient execution of contractual obligations.
- Collect, review and approve timecards with 100% accuracy. Work with the finance team to ensure all timecard entries are accurate resulting in accurate invoices.
- Support the PM by managing, tracking and updating open requisitions for assigned programs.
- Interface with program managers, customers and business leaders on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly deliverable reports for program managers and ensure timely submission.
- Coordinate with the finance team and program managers to improve accuracy of customer invoices and to meet the contractual compliance requirements to ensure timely payments from customers.
- Perform analysis on direct labor, vendor and subcontractor costs to determine monthly accruals.
- Provide travel and ODC estimates for budgetary support and financial analysis for multiple projects.
- Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Government Contracting.
- Understanding of the different contract types, i.e. CPFF, FP, T&M
- Strong command of cradle-to-grave government contracting process
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and subcontracts
- Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to use web-based applications, collaboration tools, databases, and client-interfacing software
- Demonstrated experience in reconciling invoices, weekly financial status reports, and monthly close-out documents.
- Must be skilled in Microsoft Business Suite, particularly using advanced Excel capabilities and functions such as macros, lookups, pivot tables, and dynamic charts and graphs.

- Bachelor's Degree in a business related or information technology field of study
