DSA islooking to fill various positions despite the COVID-19 and are managing our workforce within the compliance of all state requirements.Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an experienced Business AnalystThe Business Analyst will support the Army Human Resources Command (HRC) located at Fort Knox, KY. The scope of this effort is to provide a select range of IT services for specific activities within HRC. The IT services encompass all activities necessary to provide secure enterprise-wide systems sustainment, management, enhancement, development and integration services for the lifecycle administration and deployment functions. DSA will assist the HRC in the goal of meeting the vision of the Army G6 of a secure, standard based environment.Job Description:The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing processes within the organization to fulfill customer's needs. They act as the liaison between users and the technical team in charge of developing the applications. The are responsible for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. They devises or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. They are competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. The Business Analyst interacts with the customer to identify goals, areas of improvement, or any other pain points the stakeholder maybe experiencing. The Business Analyst will document the requirements and communicate them directly to the IT team or a solutions developer and deliver the solutions to the business. Such solutions may include: - Adding new features to the existing software or changing an existing one.- Communicating issues such as software bugs to the developer and following through to resolution. - Improving a current process.Required Skills and Experience: 5 plus years of Business Analyst experience in gathering and documenting IT system and user requirements 5 plus years of experience technical writing Experience with providing business analyst functions in the context of an agile/Scrum team In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making Understanding of the software development process and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experienced in creating diagrams such as activity and flow diagrams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Superior presentation and negotiation skills Proven time management and organizational skills Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.Required Education and Certifications: Bachelors Degree or Associates with 7 years experience MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview.
